Dr. Derek Tranchina is an educational leader, AI-in-education consultant, and founder of Traffic Lite, a K-12 AI-policy and instructional support platform.
As Director of Special Projects at the Monmouth-Ocean Educational Services Commission, he leads initiatives in digital learning, professional development, and virtual education. Derek has worked with educators and school leaders across more than 65 districts on AI literacy, policy, and AI-forward teaching practices. He holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Monmouth University and brings more than 18 years of experience in K-12 and higher education.
